Princess Beatrix of The Netherlands opened in Museum Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn, the exhibition ‘Chapeaux! hats Queen Beatrix. The exhibition includes more than a hundred hats that are worn during her reign of 33 years.

The occasions when Queen Beatrix wore ranged hats Queen’s visit to state, regional visits, openings and other events. The exhibition includes hats designers Emy Bloemheuvel, Suzanne Moulijn and Harry Scheltens. The hats are never isolated, but are always designed in conjunction with the clothing and stained. The exhibition shows the hats in combination with images of the occasions on which they are worn.
