The Crown Prince’s 50th birthday in 2018 will be marked among others with running the Royal Run.
The Royal Run takes place May 21, 2018 in the cities of Aalborg, Aarhus, Esbjerg, Odense and Copenhagen. Here you can subscribe to two different running distances, One mile (1,609 km) and 10 km.
Crown Prince Frederik begins the day in Aalborg to run One Mile, then continues the Crown Prince to Aarhus, Esbjerg and Odense and will also run here One Mile. The Crown Prince will conclude the day in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg to run 10 kilometers through the city.
In ocassion with the publication of Royal Run says Crown Prince:
“When I next year turns 50, I among others celebrate the day with a race where all of Denmark can participate. I have always loved sports and physical activity, and not least the years . It gives pleasure, well-being and energy. Royal run must be a race that caters to the experienced runners, but equally to those who binds running shoes for the first time, and everyone is welcome regardless of age. I hope that a great many will attend the Royal run to next year when we will run together through five of Denmark’s beautiful cities. ”
Behind Royal Run is Danish Athletic Federation and Move for life, there is a common vision of cooperation between the DGI, DIF, Nordea-fonden and TrygFonden.
