Princess Alexia of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau (Alexia Juliana Marcela Laurentien; born 26 June 2005) is the second daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. Princess Alexia is member of the Dutch Royal House and second in the line of succession to the Dutch throne.
Princess Alexia was born in the HMC Bronovo in The Hague. Her baptism took place on 19 November 2005 in Wassenaar. Alexia’s godparents are: her paternal uncle, the late Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau; her maternal uncle, Juan Zorreguieta; Queen Mathilde of Belgium (then Duchess of Brabant); Jonkvrouwe Alexandra Jankovich de Jeszenice; and Jonkheer Frans Ferdinand de Beaufort.
Alexia has an elder sister, Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange, and a younger sister, Princess Ariane.
She speaks Dutch, English and Spanish.
